Well I basically force myself to do it, but I know that doesn't work for everybody. I tell myself I'll feel better afterwards, which I always do. If I'm in a severe depressive episode, I can't really force myself to do anything as far as grooming goes. Its an effort to just try to live through the day at that point. (I'm not suicidal by the way or hinting that I might be - sometimes I just would rather not wake up in the morning and face my own hell again, that's all) You could talk to your therapist about the whole showering thing? Cognitive - behavioral therapy has helped me in the past, but it's not like I have all my s--- together personally

Additional dx: cluster migraines, celiac, hypothyroid, anemia, gyno issues and the list goes on......
