Thank you both-- you helped me get the courage, though I spent at least 10 minutes holding my phone before actually calling!

I ended up telling the receptionist what the message was about, and she said I could make an appointment, so we did. But I made sure the receptionist would ask my T if it was okay and to call me back if it wasn't. I didn't get a call back, so I guess it's okay!
