thank you for your answers!
OE, there are a few things going on at the moment for me.
I´m about to take a trip with my boyfriend for one thing, then there´s the online-therapy which I like doing and feel is helpful, but sometimes quite strenuous and overwhelming because it´s twice in the week.
And maybe most of all, I´ve been really struggling with excessive noise when I want to sleep!!! It´s soooo annoying.
I have a terrible neighbour above my bedroom that lives with 3 other roommates.
He has those weird waking and sleeping hours and sometimes starts to play music at 10 or 11 at night, or comes home at 3 then doesn´t go to bed but keeps moving around, letting things fall down again and again.
We´ve complaining to him repetively but he´s very unfriendly about it, sometimes just closes the door in front of us etc.
It´s gotten better once we wrote them a letter, at least with the music.
But it´s like I a developed a mini-trauma from all the noise because now, even when I hear a small noise from upstairs when I´m trying to sleep, I get heart pounding and anxiety because I think: " O now, here we go again!" Even though sometimes, he´s quite after that and I´m just lying there "waiting" for the next "sound". It´s insane! But i can´t stop myself.
Because of this I have gotten very sensitive to any kind of noise lately.
Then there are roadworks just outside my building (i live in the city) really early in the morning, sometimes annoying pigeons on my balcony, people playing music on the weekend nights somewhere in the street.....
you get the picture.....
It´s really eating away at me. All I want is peace and quite.
When I move, I´m gonna want to move to the country or at least somewhere a little further out where it´s nice and calm.
I tried wax and silicone earplugs and foam, but I feel all are really uncomfortable...
MysteriousFlyer, Actually I´m trying to stay away from coffein because it makes me more anxious. I used to drink diet coke all day long, but once I stopped I noticed my anxiety go down a lot.
When I have a rough night, sometimes now I drink some delicious coffee in the morning and that helps some.... but I donßt want to go back to drinking coffein all the time during the day
