I don't want to crush your hope, but both the counseling centers at the two colleges I attended would not touch bipolar. However if you are having "minor" trouble they can be a good stopgap measure. But they most likely won't prescribe anything.

Edit: I forgot they DID see me at the first one. But I pretended like I hadn't been anywhere before And was just super anxious about school. I'm not sure what would have happened if they ever figured it out because I dropped out shortly thereafter.

Edit again: I feel like i'm saying things meanly. i don't mean it that way. If you've never gone for help it's a great place to start because they will refer you to a doctor/therapist in the area of your school. If you don't live at school I'm sure they'll be able to find people in your own area.

Basically a counselor will as what brought you in and it develops from there.
