I'm sorry that you have this happen, it seems quite often. Thinking of this as a mom.. but totally not knowing what this is about.... could it be that it is something you see as "fairly small" but maybe your mom sees as a "big deal"... (for me and my boys... neatness is a real issue and definitely the importance is seen differently)

is there a "major" thing between you and your mom... that is being ignored and it is causing major blowups over small things?
