Good luck. I had a rash on the lamictal, and went to the ER and the doc said it was probably the beginnings of SJS. It looked like the google images, and started in oblong patches on my legs, that started out red and turned purpley/black, and the patches grew bigger in days.

It didn't itch, but hurt like a burn. I had been sitting with my laptop on my lap for a while so I thought I had burned myself, but it wasn't that. It wasn't a burn, just a purple rash that felt like a burn.

Since it was just the beginning, I was lucky and when I stopped the lamictal cold turkey right away, the patches didn't get any bigger, and eventually healed and went away. I don't even have scars.

The ER didn't do anything for me except tell me to stop the lamictal. They said to take benadryl but that did nothing. They told me to come back if the patches kept getting bigger or if it spread to my mucous membranes. I took pictures of it and the pdoc said it looked like SJS too.

I think that I'm still human
