Oh, sorry, PTSD doesn't like noise. What helps me is I have a fan in my room that I turn on high and it makes a fairly loud droning noise and it is good at drowning out back ground noises. I find it soothing for the PTSD too. I put it on every night, even in the winter, I just turn it away from me. I know there are noise boxes you can buy too therapists use them to cover up what they are saying when they work with patients so people in the waiting room can't hear. You could look that up on line.

You deserve to have a vacation, it may be the very thing you need like before.
