Since he is your husband I think you should be honest with him. We have no control over how other people react or think or feel even our spouses. All we can do is be honest and stick up for ourselves. You deserve to be honest about your reality and if he doesn't get it, it is on him. You can hopefully choose how to react to his reaction. If you tell him everything he may be more understanding then you give him credit for. Us men can have very hard exteriors and walls but there is a kinder gentler soul in there.
