Have to admit I lost interest in Game of Thrones after two books. They were gripping while I read them, but I forgot the plot very quickly and so never got back to reading them. GRRM is a bit too fond of details for my taste.
Do you read a lot of e-books? Have you watched the movie Stardust? Is the book better than the movie? (Sorry for all the questions.)

I really liked A Game of Thrones. I've got A Clash of Kings as well but since it's such a long book I thought I'd read a few others before starting that one. You're right when you say that George R.R. Martin likes details. I've noticed he likes to describe what people are wearing a lot of the time, which doesn't really interest me. I do, however, like the story and I like the TV-series as well. We'll see if I'll read all the books in the series or not. I'll at least give it a go.

Do you watch the series? Game of Thrones I mean.
