Absolutely. I feel acute pain for all the people I hurt and let down due to my illness. But whether or not she feels it now is the question... and it doesn't seem like she does. Especially since her parents are enabling her.
You can't save someone who won't save themselves. I was that girl. I deeply regret my behavior. But it didn't save my relationship, and it didn't happen immediately.
