Honestly I don't get that many side effects from my antipsychotics and mood stabilizers. I've gained a little weight, but honestly I really needed that. At first I did feel sleepy but that stopped, and I need to take a medication to stop restlessness from Saphris but that's it really. There may very well be an antipsychotic/mood stabilizer that won't give you many side effects and will help a lot. So I'd try to be open to trying something. I mean if worst comes to worst you can always stop taking them.
