I don't even know how to summarize this or where I should be posting it.
I stepped out of the corporate world four years ago with the idea that I would start my own company. I had a specific idea in mind, spent some time working on it, but never actually launched.
I am stuck in a pattern at the moment where I seem to start and abandon a new project every other week or month. I am very frustrated with this behavior but can't seem to stop myself. I take on a project, work very hard at it, and then run into a roadblock that seems unsolvable... so I set it aside and move on to something new.
Has anyone overcome these kinds of problems and become successfully self-employed? I am worried that my lack of focus is a character flaw that means I will never be able to run my own business.
