No, it's not dumb to admit it. It's honest.

I've felt the same way many times, especially when I write about something good that happens in therapy and no one responds. I do know that many people read threads but don't respond. I do that too. It hurts when you're the one checking to see if anyone cares about you. But it's not that no one cares; there are many reasons people don't respond. If your thread goes off the page but you want more responses, you can always post in it again, which will bring it back to page one.
I admire you for bringing this up. Sometimes it's hard to "break in" to the forum, but I, for one, will pay more attention to your threads. Also, sometimes people don't know what to say. I like giving hugs and thanks for those reasons; at least the poster knows I read their thread!
I just looked and saw that you got 48 replies to your thread about your T calling you an US. That's a lot! Another thread got 13. So, does it bother you when your threads end? Do you feel forgotten then? Just wondering because I sometimes feel like that.
