Hello all

I'm newly diagnosed Bi-Polar.

I was put on a low dosage (25mg) of Lamotrigine a few weeks ago and told to step up to 50 mg (25 am/25 pm) after 15 days - I'm being slowly stepped up to my ultimate dosage. I also take Buproprion 200mg and 1 mg of Xanax.

Since I started the Lamotrigine, I've been having major issues getting comfortable in bed and getting to sleep. I become restless, uncomfortable, toss and turn continuously.

Is this a normal side effect and if so, will it stop once I reach my target dosage, or should I be asking my pdoc for a sleeping pill?
