Honestly American companies are just big adult babysitting farms. I think they should close up - they keep the people that just sit there and fire the people (like me) that do the actual work. I once took over a computer program from a longtime employee who sat on it, charging 40 hours of work but accomplishing nothing, and i completed it in 8 hours. Now im gone and hes still there. How can any company survive like that? Answer - as long as they can get away with it. But eventually someone will have to pay up. Life is like a game of musical chairs.
