I mean really. I always get bizarre side effects to anything I try.
All this **** with my husband (he came to me for help with addiction and got out of detox today) has triggered depression, as it would for pretty much anyone. But of course I feel it deeply. It's too taxing to even breathe right now. But thankfully this only happens when the geodon stops working around 3pm.
Right, so take it twice a day instead, right? No can do. It has a delayed sedating effect for me, so three to four hours after I take it I'm dead asleep. Like slurring my words and feeling like I'm fighting the fast acting anasthetia. Obviously I can't function like that.
Also, lamictal isn't doing anything, though I've only been on 100mg for a week and a half. I'd like to stick with it BUT my vision is becoming blurry for up close things (such as posting here, hence why I'm not around very much).
I can't afford new glasses as my husband has had to quit his job to gt away from his old suppliers. I support him 100% in that decision but it totally screws us financially.
I'm just under so much stress and I can't afford to be trying yet another med and hoping it works without unbearable side effects.
Don't worry, I'm sticking with lamictal for the next couple of months to give it a chance to get to a therapeutic level. But I can't even finish this right now because I'm getting a headache from the tiny phone screen.
I just wish my body didnt hate me so much lol.
Anyway that's why I'm not around. Has anyone had this reaction to lamictal? Is it temporary?
