I learned this from my psychologist this week there is an acronym in psychology that is used in Australia to determine the scale of how much people are dissociated at any particular time. It is B.A.S.K. (Model of dissociation) We can all shift in and out of each, or a combination of the following.

Behavorial - Are you aware of what you are doing?
Affect - Do you know what you are feeling emotionally?
Somatic Sensing - Can you feel what is happening in your body?
Knowledge - Do you remember?

So what we feel (or not feel) in our bodies and minds is part the whole dissociative disorder. (even when it gets scary or creepy or numb).

Yes, I do feel weird in my body at times too.

I hope I explained that well enough. I don't remember what he said. I asked him to write it down for me.
