I think that for ME, it is about getting respect from relationships or deciding to walk away. I have decided there IS a certain way I wish to be treated, and it is my responsibility to decide what I am going to do about when I am not treated with respect. If there is something else I want from my life -- a job, a material thing, a change in my life, a change in my body, that is something I have to earn.
