You'll see reading through that, some people with BPD naturally find it difficult to trust and interact with other people. So although therapy (plus medication) is the very best thing for BPD, often the person having therapy finds it difficult to stay in the treatment. Does that make sense?
I do know that getting treatment on the NHS isn't that easy. Your GP should refer you to a psychiatrist and community mental health services, please also ask to be referred to a psychologist for therapy. A clinical psychologist would be the best as they are trained in complex mental health issues. Good luck!
