So often I've seen it recommended... Therapy and Meds. It doesn't take a massive intellect to figure out this is more likely to work than only one of these, especially if the condition/disorder is complex and/or severe. I'm sure now that if I'd been offered meds at one point I wouldn't have got into a situation I got into in therapy,, my anxiety was "overwhelming" and "turned off" the clinician. Yeah... It's not a great feeling for me either. When I talk to a gp or pdoc it feels like I'm being fobbed off. Take your Meds like a good bear, we don't want to talk to you, you aren't worth our money! rant growl, I don't know maybe I really am not "worth" it, so why don't they put me down then

Any suggestions? other than the put up and shut up treatment sometimes offered in the UK?

I feel like deleting this, sick of fighting what feels like a brick wall of ...?? Uncaring?
