At session today my Therapist informed me that she will be leaving the practice I go to in 4 weeks (during the first week in June), to take a job somewhere else, and I am already very upset about loosing her as my Therapist. I told her that I want to get her a goodbye card (especially since she won't be around for me to give her a card on her 35th birthday, but probably not with a note in it this time) and she will hug at the last session (as you know I was very upset when my prior Therapist wouldn't give me a hug at the last session after meeting with her for 4 years). Even though we only met for a short time I feel like we made a lot of progress that I hope this will continue with my next Therapist.

At times like this I am very grateful to have everyone on this forum to discuss these things with (you are very much my social support group).
