It's odd you say that, because I too feel a connection to Ireland, and I have some roots that go back to there.

I've never traveled there myself, but when I see photos of the landscape it feels very familiar, like that "home" feeling that follows when you get back to where you recognize after going on a trip. It's easy to shrug it off and chalk it up to rural areas having a natural yet lived in appearance, but I live in a rural area now and I don't identify with it as feeling like home.
