After last weekends issue with me buying her a gift card and subsequent emails T said things were find and we were fine. I thought it was because she understood my thought process as to why I did it or whatever. We very briefly discussed it tonight at the very end of our session. She thanked me for the lovely card and gift. She told me that she wasn't worried about MY boundaries. She had questioned if SHE had done something wrong. We do have looser boundaries than a lot of therapists/ clients. So she had questioned if she had crossed to far over which made me feel the need to buy her a gift..

Made me realize that I do have a great T who doesn't put the blame on me but questions her own methods.
