Sweetie if you are in contact with other professors what makes her different? Nothing. My MIL is 60 and STILL is friends with one of her college professors. He's like 84 but they get together once or twice a year for dinner. I think the fact that you admire her so much and have a bit of a crush has caused you to worry more about this than you should.
