Our now 14 y/o DD, who was diagnosed about 2 months ago, was very sensitive to noise from the time she was an infant! The first time she ever cried before going to school (she loved school) she was in Kindergarten. We later found out the teacher explained that there would be a loud fire drill tomorrow right before they practiced for it. She was terrified!
