So I accidentally hurt my leg and knee a couple weeks ago. It was pretty bad and my coworkers finally convinced me to go to the doc. I ended up seeing the nurse practitioner at my primary care and she sent me to an orthopedic surgeon.

I have a lot of scars above my knee from self harm. A lot. I had to pull up my shorts high enough for the doc and he saw my scars and asked, "What happened there?" Uggggg

I told him, "it's a bad habit" he said, " cutting?"

He apologized for getting personal. I said no worries but then I had to get X-rays and the X-ray tech saw them and now I have to go for an MRI and that tech will see them.
