Being BPD and being that I'm very socially inept....oftentimes my T may be about the only one I talk to all week and certainly the only one who knows me or that I talk to about bigger issues, etc.

I can always have a hug if i ask for one, and I know he truly cares about me. He has been incredibly patient, secure and authentic with me. He understands that I'm often in a lot of emotional distress during the week to hold on to the hug or his voice of reason during these difficult days. Sometimes I wish I could take some photos of him to help me stay connected so that I don't get so very anxious and alone. I'm always terribly afraid to ask for this...tangible proof of his existence and support.

Do you think it would be an unrealistic and innapropriate request to make? I'm actually pretty good with a camera...
