BPD is no picnic, but there are a lot of good therapies and techniques to help you along. If you have a good therapist, you're half way there. I use DBT and CBT which are helpful. It's a day by day process for sure.
For me, knowing what was wrong with me helped me forgive myself for a lot of s**t I did in my past.
