In a way, shifts the responsibility back to your T. Instead of acknowledging it is overstepping bounds.

Why not? Because I just spent an hour, cannot remember every little detail. Because it takes the average therapy client days, if not weeks to process and progress. Because rehashing with him, can undo therapy. Because you want improvement, not backpedaling.
