Noises are a major trigger for me. My kids particularly. It's very difficult and I'm working on coping mechanisms to deal with it. I have a list to run through. Sometimes they do nothing, sometimes they help a lot - there are so many factors in it all it just depends.
Do you have any coping techniques you can turn to? Breathing, meditation, yoga, exercise (for some people), aromatherapy, baths, journaling, etc. Things to turn your focus and attention to, to help you reduce the effect of the noise?
Also I'd consider writing a letter (anonymous if you are passive like me) detailing the effect their chain sawing is having on you. Maybe if they realize the personal effect it's having on their neighbors, they will be more considerate. If you live in a subdivision could you write to the HOA or whoever "oversees" the neighborhood?
