Oh no Kureha!

What happened to get you sent back??
Those anatomical tattoos and the bathing suit are cool and great in theory, but I just noticed the inaccuracies in them. If it was going to be permanent, I'd want to be 100% certain it was accurately done!
I spent ages looking for a book thread. I'm sure we had one about books and movies about sz, but after skimming through 17 pages of searched posts, I've given up because I cba any more. Also why do I get quizzed on American trivia in order to search??! I appreciate they want to know it's a real person, but it's annoying when I have to google the Xth US president every time I want to search for something! Sorry, I am quite grumpy today (and most days lately!) :/
Anyway I've just finished this father & son account of the son's sz called Henry's Demons by Patrick & Henry Cockburn. It was so so, I'm afraid to say. I felt there wasn't enough first-person account of sz - out of 17 chapters, Henry only writes 5 and a bit of another chapter. All the rest are his father's interpretation of what happened. And I just didn't 'feel' Henry's experiences like I did with the Elyn Saks' book. It just felt like basic descriptions of events rather than really getting a sense of what his experiences were. And his father annoyed me in places too, making out like he was this great expert on sz, yet saying the most ridiculous things e.g. a friend's family member was diagnosed with bipolar and "schizoid-affective disorder"!!!! Well firstly schizoid personality disorder is completely separate from schizoaffective disorder! And secondly bipolar is a type of sza disorder NOT a separate diagnosis! So all in all, I would probably give this book a miss :/
I've just started reading An Unquiet Mind, so we'll see how that one goes...
