Thanks for the response, nowhere  . I'm still trying to sort out all this mess, doc thinks I'm bipolar and actually sent me here a while back to connect with people on the issues, but I don't think I have an actual bipolar diagnosis. I've become of the impression that the mind is a very muddled and messy place, or at least mine is. I'll make sure to check out the PTSD forum as suggested and also the bipolar (if there is one).
