You know that commercial, "Depression hurts"? It really does. I can attest to that. It hurts physically as well as emotionally. But this mania business is the most uncomfortable I have ever been with a mental illness. I have been depressed to the point of being hospitalized for it, but I have NEVER felt as weird and creepy and yucky as I have so far with mania! BAH HUMBUG.
