I don't know sometimes it better when they do screw up and get caught when young then they get scared and don't do it again...by the time you hit college cops see you as an adult and aren't as lenient....I just worry she'll rebel later if she doesn't find a way to sneak out tonight...
My sister started shop-lifting around age 5 I think just because she wanted something my mom said she could not have...skip forward to 25-30 she's stealing from her job while being videotaped....well they decided to make an example of her luckily she got off on time served but it's a criminal record now and she lost her job before due to background checks during promotions so it really screwed her over.
So if I had told on her at age 5 and she had to return her stickers to the store and gotten in trouble I think It would have really helped her while the stakes were low.
So if you find out she went the best thing to do is get a flashing red light and a siren sound loaded onto your phone and scare the **** out of her...
