I am not sure what you meant in this case, because what I find tender and meaningful in this particular case coincides with having a general feeling of awe when dealing with the miracle of human existence (I traced it carefully so I won't repeat myself), so that particular example hardly qualifies as idiosyncrasy, as opposed to, say, making men drink pineapple juice in the hopes of making their semen more palatable. That would be an example of idiosyncrasy to me, and those things - weird but benign - I had in mind.
