Yes stress is typically a trigger for the first break but there is nothing about that for later breaks. While school can be enough often it's a death of someone you love, some sort of abuse , drug use ie pot etc but at the same time there seems to be an age range where people develop the disorder so in some cases it is thought to be developmental. So the only one of these you can really control aside from drug use is stress...it helps to get therapy to deal with this. Stay away from anything mind altering like caffeine alcohol ADHD meds pot some antidepressants like Wellbutrin etc. you'll probably start an AP when you seethe pdoc...that should help with the symptoms...
