Gentle Rain

thorn bushes growing in dry desert land
wandering along on the hot burning sand
the burden is heavy on tired shoulder
as hours passing by and the air gets colder
two wanderers on this Earth
feeling misunderstood since birth
together no longer alone
stepping on every sharp stone
healing each other with words of love
to find a new tomorrow under the sky above

one morning to surprise- to set free
a gentle rain to fall on you and me
taking with it- all sorrows- down to ground
never ever again to be found

Another type of rain will soon fall on you Tomi... a gentle rain... to sooth you.
