There's statistically more people suffering depression in winter.
In Oz I know when the suns out I tend to make myself go outside, its warmer and easier to get motivated...and even on bad day I can usually get motivated ( read grumpy or in right mood to clean tidy or create) by mid afternoon. That usually means I want to just keep going till after dark or longer cause it becomes a adrenaline rush.
In winter its cold dark wet and makes you want to curl up and sleep in front heater, let alone work. I hate winters here , but I hate the heat too...so for me spring and autumn are my most stable times year. .
