1. Change is hard for anyone....so don't feel like your failing cause your finding it hard...a lot would.
2. Do your best snd be happy in yourself knowing uouve given your best...the worst the csn do is make you redundant / fire you....is that really going to happen so quick after a takeover? They ate probably riding everyone to see who can do what.
3. Threatening is not on. Stand up to threats. "Im doing my best, but its going to take time to adapt to your requirements. If my best is not good enough then perhaps you can suggest what we do? " Put it back on them respectfully but make sure they realize your an assett doing your best and not some worthless loafing lacky.
4. New bosses are idiots. Most don't really realize what they've bought, how it operates or eho really does what. They've invested capital and want return! Give them time to adjust (set limit you'll put up with it) and in meantime try to use philosophy "as long as money goes in bank"....

Hope there's something in there yhat makes sense and can possibly use. You work for too much of your life to not gain any satisfaction from. Just make sure don't jump from frypan into fire.....
