are you DID or are you schizophrenic. I have DID and when I was recently diagnosed I was told medication doesn't work for DID and would not take away my voices/alters that DID wasn't a chemical imballance of the brain thing. and then when I was reading I found some posts by others here that also say medication doesn't do anything to DID as in taking away voices and alters. it can take away depression and such for the person that is diagnosed with DID but not do anything for or against the alters. Ill ask my therapist when I see her today to be sure though. I see her in about 15 minutes.
