You need to do what's right for you, I feel addicted often too, as my house stays messier and other things I'll put off till later . . .
It's almost like I feel guilt for being online and not doing house stuff, sometimes I even log off and walk away when my hubby is walking in the door, as if I wasn't on the computer but was getting ready ot clean or do paperwork, it's terrible that I have to feel like I need to sneak onto one of our computers just to socialize with the outside cyber world, which I find rather fun or just comforting.
I also find it so amazing to chat with people from all over the world. I never thought it possible, but I must say the internet and websites like this can be addictive, well at least for me it can be.
I discipline myself the best I can, and frompast experience I try not to get too deeply(emotionally) in relationships to protect my sanity.
I feel if a person feels some sort of unusual amount of time being online starts to interfer with one's daily type chores, careers, and/or schedules, they'll need to limit or even stay away from a computer a little, something like a vacation from the computer? Can't think of the right words so I hope I made myself understandable.
I will confess there has been time that I was close to being late for appointments cause I was on the computer instead of being on the road at a certain time.
When I'm online I sort of lose track of time.
Yep, this can be addictive.
Take care now,
Roe
