I'm sorry it isn't working out the way you want it to right now. Make sure that you don't hide the way you feel and what you need to happen from the marriage counselor. And it really just doesn't serve a useful purpose to compare our struggles to someone else's - you can always find someone who seems more deserving than you do, but that does not take away the fact that you are struggling too, and you have every right to your feelings and to need to vent about it.
You are worth the effort, and you are worth caring about, and I hope your goodbye was just a goodbye for now, not a 'not coming back' goodbye, as I would miss you if you weren't here. We all need support, and we all need friends, and someone who understands. You are the kind of person who gives more than you take. Just make sure that you balance it, and make sure you let us know when you need to be supported too.
<font color=orange>"If a light beckons to you, follow it. If it leads you into the quagmire, you'll probably find your way out of it again; but if you don't follow it, you'll be plagued for the rest of your life by the thought that perhaps it was your star." Friedrich Hebbet</font color=orange>
