PTSD doesn't only affect people who are in the military or who have been shot at.
I suffer from PTSD after witnessing a friend lose a limb. I also suffer from PTSD related to my childhood. Anything that may have been traumatic to you could cause you to have PTSD.

I would suggest finding professional help and seeing what they say.
