We did a vegi garden last year and made a little green house over it in the fall. We had tomatos,lettuce, onions, spinach, potatos, parsnips (which are still out there as we were late)
My BF has stuck some peas in and they are sprouting but that is all. I need to get spinach and onions in as its late.
Jlove, Many years ago a girl I met had all her garden in coffee cans going up her stairs. It was beautiful. I tried but didn't have any luck as i didn't water enough at the time because of working. But you might try it. My neigbour does a garden in a barrel, various lettuces, onion, radish, basil. Looks pretty and doesn't take up much room.
