we thought my grandmother had dementia. Turns out it was the combination of all her meds(she was on 15). We took her to a different doctor who was able to start her over and she ended up on only 7 medications. Her mind cleared right up and she was fine until the congestive heart failure set in. Taking a second look at all your meds might be worth a try.
