Well if she is engaged, it is likely that she is already taken and heading towards marriage. I don't know whether she would feel angry, scared or disgusted and she is not likely to hate you because of it. She might think that it is sweet but as I said, she is already taken. When someone is engaged it usually means they are fully committed to someone else. You won't know unless you talk to her. Good luck.
