My pdoc took me off provigil and put me on a really low dose of Dexidrine. I take it, but I don't feel anything. No side effects, no real increased energy. I have noticed I am not falling asleep at my desk. I was reprimanded at work for sleeping at my desk--I slept through a few meetings. I have also had a slight elevation in my mood. So, I guess it is working. I am a little scared to take it because of its addictive nature. Anyway, I was wondering if there are others out there who are on Dexidrine or Adderal or something like it for treatment resistant depression. How long have you been on it? Any major problems? How long can I safely take it?
