Hey folks,
I've been taking Concerta @ 54mgs for about 4 months now. It's been a fantastic help. However, for the past month or so my left eyelid has been twitching almost non-stop. Also, my small finger has been twitching a lot; but, not as much as my eye. The latest twitch (which started last week) is my nose. Not just one side; my entire nose. I have been having more migraines than usual as well.
I went to my GP and had blood work done. Everything came back normal and she seems to think it could be side effects from the Concerta. I'll be seeing my psychiatrist next month. But, in the meantime; I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this? I'm no doctor. But, in my experience, if I am going to have side effects from a medication they usually start within days of starting it anew. I've been taking Concerta for months now. So, I have my doubts that I'm suffering from side effects.
Anyhow, it's making me kind of nervous. I know those twitches can be caused by fatigue as well. But, I haven't had a good night's sleep in years. Surely, it wouldn't take that long to manifest?
Cheers,
BW76
