I'm still doing 9 x 12 watercolors. I don't want to spend a lot of money on big paper yet. I have some acrylics in the house, and some canvas, and will get to them eventually. Long ago, I used them.
Do you or anyone know why they sell watercolor paper in size 9 x 12 but it's almost impossible to buy a frame that size? Most photos are 8 x 10 or 11 x 14 so the frames are made for photos, not art. But it's so frustrating. I have to make my paintings smaller to fit in that size. Why don't they sell watercolor paper in sizes that fit frames? Not everyone can afford custom frames!!!

I've found a 9X12 at a the craft store Micheal's. I don't know if they have that where you are. But maybe just some craft place that does framing. Big stores like target never have that size, but I'm pretty sure that if you go somewhere that does framing you can find it. Also you could try looking online.
