Well I just hooked up with one of my good friends who is the BESTEST with diet / exercise advice ...
He has just spent two months training in Thai kickboxing ... in Thailand the lucky bish ... and I hadn't seen him for a few months before that. Yea I'm slack atm.
So I have been a bit lazy with my eating and exercise lately and I am sure I have put on a kilogram or two. Not heaps but enough to make me go oops ...
Anyway the point of this message is this:
I read weight stuff here sometimes and the thing that has always been most stressed to me ... I've just been reminded of ... and works best for me personally is:
NO CARBS FOR 6 HOURS BEFORE YOU GO TO BED.
So that might be 4pm for some. For me it's 6pm as I don't go to bed till midnight usually.
It is seriously magic when combined with exercise ...
So ... what's YOUR top tips for being healthy?
Michael is helping me with a food plan again so if anything useful comes up I might post ...
FYI I used to throw up and stuff to try and control my weight and he was the person who got me out of it because on his eating and exercise suggestions I looked way better than I ever did spewing. I used to say I REALLY WANT X OR Y and he would run to the grocery store on his lunch break and look up the nutrition information for me and tell me if it was OK or not ... lol ...
But yea ... I think a thread with good tips about what works for individuals in terms of weight management ... might be useful??
This is my last pasta for dinner for AGES

hehe.
